Frank J. Principi is serving his second term as the Woodbridge Magisterial District Supervisor. Mr. Principi is focused on implementing the vision of a New Woodbridge. This includes revitalization of the Route 1 corridor through mixed-use transit-oriented development and preservation of our older neighborhoods. Recent steps toward achieving the Vision include: the adoption of the North Woodbridge Master Plan by the Board of County Supervisors; the growth of Potomac Town Center and Belmont Bay; securing $179 million for two major Route 1 widening projects; and continued expansion of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail. Supervisor Principi is also leading the initiative to bring passenger ferry service to the Potomac River.
Mr. Principi is the past Chairman of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) and serves on the boards of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC), Virginia Association of Counties (VaCO), and the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC).
Mr. Principi is currently the Executive Director of the Greater Prince William Community Health Center, a non-profit organization that provides healthcare to nearly 20,000 uninsured families across the region. He earned his B.A. in American History and Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Principi resides in Woodbridge with his wife Cecilia and their twin daughters, Ana Michelle and Diana Marie. They are parishioners of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
